The upper has a fine, brushed nap that takes the light softly across the vamp. It is muted in tone and gentle to the touch, and it relaxes with wear, settling into the shape of the foot over a season.

Underfoot, the sole keeps the shoe light and pliant, with a low profile that sits close to the ground. The open back lets the foot step in without effort and leaves nothing to press at the heel.

Unstructured and easy across the instep, it moves from morning coffee to an evening by the water without asking for attention. It is a shoe for the slower hours of the day.

A moc-toe apron seam, a clean cream sole, and a single understated knot at the side let it sit easily with linen trousers or tailored shorts. The shape is simple and relaxed, carried by quiet proportion.

Every pattern is cut to our own blocks and checked by hand before it leaves the workroom. Seams closed clean, edges pressed flat, and nothing goes out until it hangs the way it should.
